The world's all white again...
I occured to me one day— weeks ago— that all the ground was white and it was truly winter. I rather liked seeing all that pristine whiteness as I practiced.
Then there came a melting and my back yard became brown again. The "orchard" down below my wall stayed white, but I missed the unbroken bright whiteness.
There are only five days left in February. I wonder how many days of winter we have left— and I don't mean, How many days until the vernal equinox? I mean, How many winter days? (I'm loathe to let the seasons go now. They go too fast.)
Time to practice. (Yesterday it was cold, but so comfortable practicing that I had to take my gloves off.)
