ABOUT US

Celestial Offerings Apiaries Educational Programs

Celestial Offerings Apiaries is comprised of the team of Normand Peloquin, and, of course, hundreds of thousands of honey bees. Their love of their craft brings pollination to farmers' crops and honey to your kitchen. Bees are an important part of our world; they take care of our food chain. We can show you how.

Our beekeeping team can bring an educational program to your school or organization. We have programs tailored for all age groups from kindergarten kids through senior citizens.

Each one-hour-plus program includes a powerpoint presentation and lots more. We cover such topics as the history of the honey bee in North America, the life cycle of the honey bee, and the importance of honey bees assistance in crop pollination. We bring along a fully-enclosed, safe, live observation hive where you can watch honey bees at work, as well as a skep (beehive) that was used in the 1600's and a modern beehive for you to examine. We demonstrate the use of the beekeepers' tools and equipment; and we answer your questions about honey bees and beekeeping.
